THE "RAVE" RELEASE OF EVERYDAY GREATNESS MAGAZINE

The launch of Everyday Greatness Magazine was a huge success in Port Harcourt. The magazine was born out of a deep passion by the editor-in-chief to cause a change in society, having knowledge of the fact that there are others like her with similar passion. She decided to project such individuals and the changes they have implemented and also inspire others to follow likewise.

By definition, Webster dictionary of English defines, ‘Everyday’ as encountered or used routinely and ‘Greatness’ as remarkable in magnitude, effectiveness or remarkably skilled.
Like John F Kennedy said during his inaugural speech, “ask not what your country can do for you, and ask what you can do for your country”. Somewhere in Nigeria today, there are individuals like Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks and Mother Theresa making a difference and impacting lives in their community. No matter how great or little it may seem as far as it puts a smile on someone’s face; it signifies greatness that will lead to a change.
The primary objective of the magazine is to inspire and encourage individuals to positively effect a change in their community and then to the society as a whole. We are all aware of the ills in our society, rather than rely on the government; the onus is on us to be the change we want to see.
