OFFER WITHDRAWAL TO FUND TRUMP’S BORDER WALL

The Democrats came public on their decision to withdraw an offer they had made to fund U.S. President Donald Trump’s border wall, as tough negotiations resumed in the Senate over the future of young illegal immigrants known as “Dreamers”.

The withdrawal is as a result of the failure on Trump’s part to continue on the outlines of an agreement earlier discussed by Trump and the Democratic leader, Chuck Schumer.

According to Chuck Schumer:

“So we’re going to have to start on a new basis and the wall offer is off the table.”

In response, Trump stated that after a humiliating defeat, Schumer understands that if there is no Wall, then there is no DACA. He went onto say that the U.S must have security and safety alongside a strong military for the country.

Quoting our source,

“The Congressional Hispanic Caucus fear on that Republicans in the House of Representatives would pursue a harsh immigration bill written by Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte”.

“The House measure would allow Dreamers to renew their legal status for three years, instead of putting them on a pathway to citizenship, and would call for hiring 10,000 more agents at U.S. borders while shutting down some visa programs and taking other steps to find people who are in the country illegally”.
