LESSONS FROM WIZKID Vs DAVIDO

Hmmmmmm, so its news that both artists Wizkid and Davido made up on stage during a stage performance 'Fia' by Davido.

For a start, for Davido to be present at the concert it indicates the reconciliation did not just start on stage for all to see. The reconciliation process definitely started way before the act.

Lessons to be learned: reconciliation is between the immediate parties involved. Commitment to reconciliation between the immediate parties involved is key before any third party gets involved. This also aids lasting peace.

Davido's presence alone at the Concert says it all. Based on what we can see, it is the first obvious sign of their consociation to the public. His invitation upstage by Wizkid was a supporting act.
Lessons to be learned: according to a Nigerian slang, "na only you waka come". Relationships are made when the people involved decide to make it work.
For most conflicts, there are 3rd parties or mediators. They are always there for one reason or another, positive or negative. Most times their involvement in the conflict are quiet dicy. Decerning their motives might not be clear at the initial stage but you always get to discover the good from the bad in the long run. So it's up to the parties involved in the conflict to decide for their best interest. Stay off folks who encourage conflicts, because they benefit from it in some ways and they do it to the detriment of the parties involved. Let's liken this to a scenario in the workplace were managers/supervisors intervene in conflicts between subordinates as it's their role. It is in the manager/supervisor's best interest to resolve the conflict so that the organisational goals and objectives can be met on time while working safely. It will only be foolish of a subordinate to ignore the inventory role of the manager/supervisor when it affects work delivery.

In conclusion, use your head while you use your heart. In Nigerian Pidgin language, "who quarrel and fight epp?", meaning how has quarrelling and fighting helped? My candid opinion, those guys reconciled way before the stage act. Kudos to them, a good way to go.
